Events 10 November

Battle of Surabaya was the historical event of war between the Indonesian army and Dutch troops. This great event occurred on November 10, 1945 in the city of Surabaya, East Java. This battle was the first war of Indonesian forces with foreign troops after the Proclamation of Independence of Indonesia and one of the largest and heaviest battles in the history of the Indonesian National Revolution who became a national symbol of Indonesian resistance against colonialism.

Eid al-Adha (the Republic of Indonesia, Hari Raya Haji, Arabic: عيد الأضحى) is an Islamic holiday. At today's event commemorated the sacrifice, that is when the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who are willing to sacrifice his son Ishmael to God, to sacrifice his son Ismail, later replaced by him with the sheep.
On this holiday, Muslims gathered in the morning and perform the Eid prayers together in the field, such as when to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. After the prayer, carried out the slaughter of sacrificial animals, to commemorate God's command to Prophet Ibrahim who slaughtered sheep in lieu of his son.
Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th month of Dhu al-Hijjah, the day it falls exactly 70 days after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. This day and the days of fasting Tasyrik forbidden for Muslims.
Center for the celebration of Eid al-Adha is a small village in Saudi Arabia named Mina, near Mecca. Here there are three stone pillars representing the devil and should be stoned by Muslims who are rising Hajj.
Day of Eid al-Adha is the peak pilgrimage that Muslims carried out.

      Youth Oath is authentic evidence that on October 28, 1928 The Indonesian nation was born, therefore it should be all the people of Indonesia momentum commemorate October 28 as the day of birth of the Indonesian nation, the birth of the Indonesian nation is the fruit of the struggle of peoples for hundreds of years oppressed under the rule of colonialists at the time, the conditions of oppression is then pushed the youth at the time determined by it to raise the dignity of indigenous Indonesian people's lives, a determination that is the struggle of the people of Indonesia's commitment to successfully achieve its independence 17 years later on August 17, 1945. 

Month of Ramadan

Ramadan

Ramadan is the month of fasting for Muslims around the world, where Muslims resist eating, drinking, lust anger, and perform intercourse from dawn sunrise to sunset. In Ramadan Muslims are also multiply the practice of Ramadan, among others, tarawih prayers at night, tadarruz al-Qur'an (reading the Qur'an), and shall perform the tithe.

Tarawih

Alhamdulillah, at night during Ramadan, at Nurul Huda mosque in Blora tarawih prayer congregation was held activities such as previous years. One night I brought my sister to pray tarawih there. I was with my sister tarawih praying side by side. The congregation came to the mosque at about 07.00 pm to attend evening prayers in first, and then praying tarawih 20 cycles followed by 3 cycles witir prayer.
Had counted on me that for the whole prayer lasts about 1 hour. When finished praying tarawih, in Nurul Huda mosque held tadarus qur'an. Usually during Ramadan, we had khatam qur'an 3 times. It felt so glad tarawih prayers in congregation.
